ARP security tools

Throughout the years there have been lots of tools and mechanisms have appeared that tried to solve the problem of ARP attacks. Most of them were not even able to tackle the problem at the surface: they were easy to trick or relied on special preconditions.

The tools and mechanisms can be devided into the following categories:

• System approaches
• Hardware approaches
• Middleware approaches
• Cryptographic approaches

I have collected and described all of these approaches in my presentation Securing ARP. The document is currently incomplete and work in progress:
